Top seeds Shekhar Veerasamy and Balachandar Subramanian were in fine form on Day 2.

Fifth-seeded Anand Selvaraj defeated his fourth-seeded Tamil Nadu statemate D Mariappan for a minor upset, while top three seeds, Shekar V, Balachandar S and Shivaprasad respectively, entered the semifinals of the Tabebuia Open 2017, the second AITA-ranking tournament of the Indian Wheelchair Tennis Tour at the KSLTA courts here on Friday.

Top seed Prathima N Rao and Shilpa KP, both from Karnataka topped their respective groups and
entered the semifinals of the women's singles.

In the last-four matches, Prathima will take on statemate Ammu Mohan while Shilpa will play another local player Nalina Kumari.
